The brand new Nickelback album “Here and Now” is due for release on “Nickelback Monday” November 21st 2011 & you can bet the “hipster” music critics have already pre-written their scathing reviews.

Personally I’ve always loved the band. Frontman & principal songwriter Chad Kroeger has always been a killer radio interview, pretty much just a dude you’d wanna get drunk with. And he couldnt give a shit about critics! Last time I checked thats what real rock music was about – not giving a fuck. Just doing it.

The reality. Nickelback is the 2nd best selling foreign act in the U.S. behind The Beatles for the 2000s. They were the highest-ranked band and the highest-ranked rock artist in the Billboard “Artists of the Decade” list published December 2009. Billboard also named Nickelback as the Adult Pop Artist of the decade.

If you’ve seen them live you’ll know they put on a live hard rock show to match any of the global heavyweights. They bring the riffs…they bring the power ballads. Whats not to love?

I've ALWAYS loved Nickelback…. they must have a heluva lot of "closeted" fans considering how much their music sells….I just roll my eyes at the pretentious music critics (and the "cool kids" who jump on the bandwagon).

I agree with you Byron and I don't give a flying freak what people think. I love NICKELBACK and thats all that matters. Been a fan since 2001/2 and been lucky enough to have seen them live and they are bloody amazing. I just hhate critics and people who don't give these guys a chance. Why criticise their music, they cover everything and give us a whole range of styles. Makes one think most is based on envy. And agree with Duberville Chad is hot in fact damn hot. But then so is the music of NICKELBACK and thats why the fans love them so much and boy what do the critics know…..the fan base is huge, must be sell out shows and sell out albums, gold and platinum. THANKS I WILL TAKE NICKELBACK EVERY TIME

A lot of my friends hate Nickelback but they are my favourite band! I find it amazing how much truth there is to their songs, they're so meaningful.
